The Educational Pathway Scholarship is for individuals pursuing higher education that will result in a teaching degree; or educators enrolled in a post-graduate degree program in Educational Leadership.
The FloridaLearns Foundation intends to award a $1,500 scholarship to an individual in each of its member districts.
The FloridaLearns Foundation intends to award a $1,500 scholarship to an individual in each of the PAEC member districts – Calhoun, FAMU DRS, Franklin, FSU Bay, Gadsden, Gulf, Holmes, Jackson, Jefferson, Liberty, Madison, Taylor, Wakulla, Walton, and Washington counties.
Qualifications:
- Accepted to a teacher education program at an institution of higher education; OR
- Currently enrolled in a post-graduate degree program in Educational Leadership (master’s, educational specialist, or doctorate).
- Currently enrolled and taking coursework at the time of application.
Requirements:
- Written essay describing how the candidate would use the degree earned to improve student performance.
- One letter of recommendation from a current supervisor; and one letter of recommendation from a previous supervisor or another school/district/community leader;
- Most recent performance appraisal showing satisfactory performance;
- Proof of enrollment in a post-secondary program (copy of current college transcript).
Requirements Upon Selection:
- Individuals selected to receive the scholarship must provide a 2×3 headshot in .jpg or .png format.
- Individuals must submit the final grades earned in the academic year of the scholarship.
